By scheduling service with Do It Green Carpet Cleaning (“Company”), the customer (“Client”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
The Client’s signature on the day of service constitutes full acknowledgment and acceptance of the total cost of the service and all Terms and Conditions herein.
The Company aims to improve the condition of carpets, rugs, upholstery, tile, and grout. However, no guarantee is made of complete stain removal, odor removal, or full restoration to original condition. Some stains, odors, or discoloration may be permanent or may reappear after drying.
The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, or may cause damage.
The Client is responsible for removing all fragile, valuable, or breakable items from the work area. The Company is not responsible for damage to items left in the service area.
The Company will assist with moving light furniture only. Heavy or delicate items must be moved by the Client prior to arrival. If the Client requests the Company to move heavy items, the Client assumes all risk for resulting damage.
Cleaning may reveal pre-existing conditions including wear, fading, weak seams, discoloration, or hidden damage. The Company is not responsible for these conditions.
Certain stains, including pet urine, dyes, and deeply embedded soils, may not be fully removable.
Some stains may reappear due to “wicking” from the carpet backing or padding.
The Company is not responsible for shrinkage, unstable dyes, fraying, fabric deterioration, weakened seams, backing breakdown, or pre-existing material defects.
Furniture must not be placed on damp carpet. Damage caused by furniture placed on wet surfaces is not the responsibility of the Company.
Filtration soiling (dark lines along edges or doorways) may not be fully removable and is not guaranteed.
While appearance is significantly improved, full restoration, uniform color, or complete stain removal is not guaranteed.
If grout is cracked, deteriorated, or weak, pieces may detach during cleaning. The Company is not responsible for grout loss due to pre-existing conditions.
Detached grout may cause surface scratching. The Company is not responsible for such damage.
Tile surfaces may be slippery when wet. The Client assumes all risk for wet floor conditions.
Technicians wear shoe covers during initial and final walkthroughs.
During cleaning, shoe covers are not worn for safety. If the Client requests shoe covers during cleaning and the technician agrees, the Client releases the Company from all liability related to slips, falls, or injuries resulting from that request.
The Company does not provide shoe covers to customers.
Carpets will remain damp for several hours after service.
The Client assumes all responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.
The Company is not liable for slips, falls, injuries, or damages related to wet or damp surfaces.
Payment is due in full upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations or lack of access to the property may result in service fees.
Clients must report concerns within 48 hours for a one-time free re-clean.
No refunds are provided for completed services.
Claims made after 48 hours will not be considered.
In the event any damage occurs during service, whether inside or outside the Client’s property, the Company’s liability shall be strictly limited to and shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the service.
This amount represents the maximum liability Do It Green Carpet Cleaning shall assume under any circumstances related to the service, including claims for property damage, negligence, loss, or any other cause of action.
Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
